How could I not be fascinated by the sounds of my footsteps in snow? It’s kind of like nature’s snare drum played with jazz brushes! Oh, and I love the dripping sounds of melting snow, too. All this snowy, ploppy stuff became my inspiration for the percussion bed in this piece of music. Perhaps you’ll now hear the splashes and drips in life as musical sounds!
